A definitive way to aim at and actually achieve success as an independent contractor in the construction sector is to learn and be trained on how to adopt business policies and processes that ensure recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards at the workplace.
The course instructor is a specialist member of the OSHA, by completing OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 with us, you will be certified and receive a wallet card certification that does not expire.
In so doing, you will avoid situations that are severely detrimental to your business’s stability, from imperiled productivity to legal actions against you resulting from workplace injuries. At Zitro we offer trainings for entry level workers, OSHA 10, and for employers, OSHA 30, both of which are certified by the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Federal agency regulating safety and occupational health in the construction industry, as part of the OSHA Outreach Training Program for the Construction Industry. The course encompasses policies and practices pertaining to workplace safety and health, which are the employer or contractor’s responsibility to ensure and to inform their employees about. It also covers workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint with the OHSA.
